
Dr. Harris was born and raised in Gibson County attending Gibson County Schools at Rutherford from Kindergarten through eighth grade and completing high school at Gibson County High School. His interest in becoming a podiatrist was sparked by Dr. Kathryn Riffe when he came to her as a patient while still in high school. Dr. Harris completed his bachelors degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1999, and was then accepted to the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He graduated in 2003 with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Upon completion of residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Dr. Harris moved back to West Tennessee and entered practice with Dr. Kathryn Riffe at Gibson County Podiatry. He now lives in Jackson, Tennessee. He is a member of the Rutherford Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rutherford. Dr. Harris enjoys playing the piano, fishing, hunting, reading history and genealogy, and occasionally looking for snakes or other reptiles from his love of herpetology. His top medical interests in podiatry are diabetic foot and wound care.
